We make Resizer, one of the tools on this page. Every fact about the other tools comes from their own pages, linked under each one, as they read on 2026-10-24. Prices and features change: check each site before you choose.

1. Resizer (ours)

Best for: Batches that must fit a size or a file limit, such as under 100 KB, and videos too, without uploading.

Good

  • Finds the highest quality that fits a file size limit
  • Fit, cover, stretch and fit-inside, with an anchor; presets for social, email and 4K
  • Resizes videos to MP4 or WebM with the audio kept
  • Saved presets; results download in a ZIP
  • Works on your phone, tablet and computer in the browser, even offline

Not so good

  • Still in beta
  • No smart crop with focal point detection, batch renaming or watermark
  • A file size limit needs JPEG, WebP or AVIF; PNG only gets smaller with fewer pixels
  • Big batches take longer on older computers

2. BIRME

Best for: Cropping a batch to one exact size with a smart focal point, plus renaming and watermarks.

Good

  • Processes images locally; nothing is uploaded, by its own description
  • Smart crop with automatic focal point, or a custom crop per image
  • Extras: text and image watermarks, borders, batch rename, ZIP or folder save
  • AI background removal and 2× to 4× super-resolution

Not so good

  • Its pages do not mention resizing by percentage or to a file size
  • Pictures only, no video
  • The page carries ads
