FBX to GLB converter

Turn an FBX from Blender, Maya, Mixamo or a model store into a GLB for the web, AR or a game engine.

Accepts

FBX 3D model (.fbx, binary or ASCII). Other file types are not converted on this page.

How to convert

  1. Drop the .fbx file. Textures packed inside the FBX are used; textures it names from outside are found among the files you drop with it.
  2. Keep animations ticked to carry the animation clips into the GLB.
  3. After converting, the status line gives the triangle and vertex counts, the size, and what the new format could not hold.

Your files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded: the conversion runs in your browser, and the file is never sent to PartPriced Tools or to any other server.

Questions

Which FBX files can it read?

Binary and ASCII FBX version 7.0 (2011) and newer. Older FBX files are refused with a message.

Are animations and skeletons kept?

Yes, when Keep animations is ticked and the meshes are not merged.

Why do the materials look different?

FBX materials are converted to glTF metal and roughness materials, which keep the colour and textures but not every shading setting.
