Which bitrate should I pick?
128 kbps is fine for speech. 192 or 320 kbps keeps more detail in music.
Are video files uploaded?
No. The decoding and the MP3 encoding both run in your browser. Large videos take longer and use more memory, since the sound is decoded in one go.
