Contacts guide

Getting started with Contacts

Contacts is an address book for your business. Its contacts are the same customers you see in CRM, Orders and Invoices, so you only keep them once.

Open Contacts

Bring your contacts in

  1. Choose Import and pick a vCard (.vcf), CSV or .scontacts file. You can also drop the file on the page.
  2. Check the preview. It says how many contacts are new and which match one you already have by e-mail or phone.
  3. Choose Import.

Add and edit a contact

Choose New contact, type a name and press Enter. The contact opens on the right.

Choose Edit on the card to add phones, e-mails, an address, a photo, notes and groups. Choose Save when you are done. The card also shows the pipeline stage and follow-up date, the orders and invoices for this contact, and dated activity notes.

Groups, views and filters

The left column lists your Groups and the Pipeline stages: Lead, Contacted, Customer and Lost. Drag contacts onto a group to add them. The Filter panel narrows the list by group, organisation, e-mail, phone and date.

Cards and Table switch the middle column. In the table you can sort by a column and edit a cell with a double click.

Tidy up and export

Duplicates finds contacts that look like the same person and merges them. Clean up fixes common problems, and Country code sets the code used for phone numbers without one.

Export saves your contacts as vCard, CSV for Google or Outlook, or Excel. Everything stays on this device.
