Excel (XLSX) to CSV converter
Turn a workbook into CSV for a database, an import or a script. The cells are written as Excel shows them.
Accepts
Excel workbook (.xlsx), OpenDocument spreadsheet (.ods). Other file types are not converted on this page; the File Converter hub takes every kind it knows.
How to convert
- The workbook is read by the same spreadsheet reader as Spreadsheets. Formulas are not calculated: the value Excel saved with each formula is used.
- Choose the first sheet or every sheet (one CSV each), and the separator. The file is marked as UTF-8 so Excel opens accents correctly.
Your files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded: the conversion runs in your browser, and the file is never sent to PartPriced Tools or to any other server.
Questions
Why a semicolon?
Spreadsheets set to a European language use a comma for decimals, so they expect semicolons between cells.
Can I convert an old .xls file?
Not yet. Open it in Excel or LibreOffice and save it as .xlsx or .ods first; both are read here.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, on this device. Your files are not sent to PartPriced Tools or to any other server.
