Make an Apple Mail signature

Fill in your details, choose a look, copy the signature and paste it into Mail on your Mac. One setting needs changing so the formatting stays; the page tells you which.

How to do it

1. Type your details and pick a Template, Colour and Font.
2. Choose Copy signature.
3. In Mail: Mail › Settings › Signatures, choose the account, then +.
4. Untick "Always match my default message font", then paste.

Questions

Why does my signature lose its fonts in Apple Mail?

Mail changes pasted text to your message font while "Always match my default message font" is ticked. Untick it before you paste.

Can I add my logo?

Yes. Type the web address of your logo, or choose Use a picture from this device…, which is made small and kept inside the signature.

Can I change it later?

Yes. What you typed is kept in this browser, so open the page again, change it and copy it again.
