Tile a watermark across the whole picture

A watermark in one corner is easy to crop away. A pattern repeated across the picture, at an angle and half transparent, protects proofs, previews and stock photos while they can still be seen.

How to do it

1. Drop the pictures on the page.
2. Type your text in the text layer (or press + Logo… and choose your logo).
3. Tick Repeat across the whole picture, then set the Rotation, for example -30°.
4. Lower the Opacity until the picture shows through, and check the preview.
5. Press the Watermark button at the foot of the panel and download the results.

Questions

Can a tiled watermark be removed?

Any watermark can be edited out with enough effort, but a pattern over the whole picture is much harder to remove than one in a corner.

Can I rotate the watermark?

Yes. Rotation goes from -180° to 180°, for tiled and single watermarks alike.

Which files work?

PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, BMP, GIF, SVG and HEIC pictures, MP4, MOV and WebM videos, and PDFs. An animated GIF and a video get the watermark on every frame.
