Questions

How are the columns found?

Each line of the page becomes a row, and each column of text becomes a column, so tables aligned in columns turn into a grid.

Are numbers kept as numbers?

Yes. Values that read as numbers are written as numbers, so you can calculate with them straight away.

Does it keep formatting or formulas?

No. The workbook holds the values only: no images, formulas or cell formats.

Is the PDF sent anywhere?

No. The conversion runs in your browser and the workbook is saved to your device.
