How to do it

1. Drop the SIE file (.se or .si) on the page.
2. SIE to Excel (XLSX) is chosen for you. Check the preview: the voucher lines appear as a table.
3. Choose Convert, then Download the workbook.
4. In Excel, the Vouchers sheet has the series, number, date and text of each voucher, the account and its name, debit, credit and the signed amount.

Questions

What is on the Balances sheet?

One row per account with its opening balance, closing balance and result for each year in the file, from the #IB, #UB and #RES records.

Are the amounts numbers in Excel?

Yes, with two decimals, and the dates are Excel dates. Debit is positive and credit negative in the Amount column, as in the SIE file.

Can I get CSV instead?

Yes. Choose SIE to CSV: one row per transaction line, and with the semicolon separator the amounts get a decimal comma for a Swedish Excel.
